This notice explains how Abbey Care collects, uses and protects personal information.
Who we are
Abbey Care, a trading name of 3F International Ltd, 38–42A South Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex RH16 4LA, is the data controller for personal information we collect. Our Data Protection Officer is Mike Nightingale, Director.
Information we collect through this website
If you contact us through our website, by phone or by email, we’ll collect the details you give us, such as your name, contact details and information about the care you’re enquiring about. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to arrange care.
Clients and their families
If you or a relative receives care from us, we hold further information so that we can provide safe, high-quality care. Our full Client Privacy Notice explains this in detail, and we’ll provide a copy when care begins or on request.
Sharing your information
We never sell or trade your information. We only share it where we need to in order to provide care, such as with your GP or other health and care professionals, or where the law requires us to, for example with the Care Quality Commission or for safeguarding.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 12 months if care doesn’t go ahead. Client records are kept in line with our records management policy.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Just contact our Data Protection Officer.
